About Vincent Stresewski

I am a hands-on manufacturing / mechanical engineer who cares about building systems that actually work. I like taking something from nothing and turning it into a process that is efficient, repeatable, and makes sense to the people using it every day. My background spans automotive, aerospace, and now energy products. I started my career at Volvo Group Trucks, where I built a strong foundation in lean principles, root cause analysis, and floor-level problem solving. I led the development and rollout of a MES system across multiple production lines and later supported Smart Factory initiatives across North America, working directly with plant leadership to modernize operations and improve visibility. After that, I built a product-based business from the ground up, scaling it to over $1M in revenue without outside funding. That experience taught me a lot about ownership, decision making, and how all parts of a system connect from sourcing to fulfillment. Today, I am on the DFM team at a fast-growing energy company, where I help bring new products to market and build the systems required to manufacture them. I work closely with engineering during development to make sure products are designed for manufacturing, and then take ownership of building the production line, process, and tooling once the design is finalized. I started in a facility that was essentially an empty floor and have been building production lines from the ground up. My approach combines lessons from automotive and aerospace with practical decision making to create systems that are efficient, scalable, and reliable. I focus on throughput, simplicity, and continuous improvement, and I am always looking for ways to make things run better. I take pride in doing real work, solving real problems, and building systems that have a direct impact on how a product is made and how a company scales.

Experience

  1. Design Manufacturing Engineer

    Solar 76

    Oct 2025 — Present

I help bring new energy products to life inside a fast-moving startup focused on improving how solar and storage systems are built. As part of the DFM team, I work closely with engineering during development to make sure products are designed with manufacturing in mind. I am currently involved in several new EG4 product launches, helping shape designs so they can be built efficiently and scaled without unnecessary complexity.Once a product is ready, I take ownership of building it into production. I design the assembly line, develop the process, and put the systems in place to actually build the product at scale. This includes layout, tooling, workflows, and integrating things like AMRs, smart tools, and ERP and MES systems.I started when the facility was basically an empty floor and have been building production lines from the ground up. I lean heavily on my background in automotive and aerospace manufacturing, but also try to stay practical and build systems that actually make sense for the operators using them every day.Working in a startup means things move fast and are not always defined, so a big part of my role is figuring things out, making decisions, and keeping things moving forward. I focus on building processes that are efficient, repeatable, and easy to follow, while always looking for ways to improve them.I take pride in building production systems that directly impact how well a product performs, how smoothly the factory runs, and how well the company can scale.
