A result oriented and diligent safety professional, with a rich history spanning 36 years in the field of safety, health, environment, and risk management within the heavy engineering industry. I have honed my expertise in overseeing safety practices at both operating plants and construction sites. In my recent role as Corporate HSE lead for a prominent high reliability engineering industry, I played a pivotal role in reviewing and developing corporate-wide policies and procedures, focusing on construction safety management, QA audits, commissioning and operations, training, mentoring, human performance and safety culture development. Currently serving as a safety professional at the Corporate Office of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, I bring a wealth of experience in analysing and mitigating safety risks through strategic planning and the implementation of preventive and corrective measures.Training & Mentoring is my passion. My career highlights include demonstrating professional excellence in designing and implementing comprehensive industrial safety and fire management systems to prevent incidents and minimize losses. I possess a keen acumen for assessing fire and safety risks, crafting customized setups, developing contingency plans, conducting emergency drills, and orchestrating emergency evacuations. Adept in applying modern safety management techniques, I am also skilled in maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities and domestic agencies concerning occupational health and safety activities. Additionally, I have been entrusted with the role of Divisional Management Representative for ISO 9001, showcasing my commitment to quality and organizational excellence. Conducted technical reviews of nuclear plants for last 10 years including review of international nuclear power plants.
