Research interests: my scientific activity has been mainly devoted to organic synthetic methodologies of interest in the field of the heterocycles and other organic compound: 1. Multi-step synthesis of (-)-deacetoxy-oleuropein aglycone and a series of related analogues for structure activity studies. Studies and application of palladium catalyzed processes for the synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocycles with biological activity. Thermally reversible Diels–Alder-based polymerization, for the synthesis of bio-compatible polimers.
