In this strategic role, I act as the essential liaison between Norfolk State University and the broader consortium, ensuring seamless integration and coordination of ROTC activities and programs.Key Responsibilities & Achievements-Foster strong relationships between Norfolk State University and the consortium, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to enhance the ROTC program\'s overall effectiveness-Dedicated mentor to the midshipmen of Norfolk State University, providing guidance, leadership development, and support to prepare them for future naval service-Execute a wide array of staff duties in line with Navy ROTC directives and the guiding principles outlined in the ROTC Order Directive (ROD) 1533, ensuring compliance with naval standards and educational objectives-Develop and implement training programs, leadership workshops, and academic initiatives designed to enrich the ROTC curriculum and enhance the professional and personal growth of ROTC cadets-Lead by example, embodying the core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment, and instilling these principles in future naval officers.In this role, I am committed to the development of well-rounded, capable future leaders for the Navy, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation necessary for success in their military careers and beyond.
