About Vincent Natoli

I am the president and founder of Stone Ridge Technology. My area of expertise is high performance computing which is the use of large clusters of state of the art computers to solve exceptionally difficult problems in physics, engineering and technology. There are two aspects to this work. First is the deep understanding of the underlying math and physics of your problem and second is mapping those discovered equations and relationships to a modern parallel computing architecture. Both aspects are enormously rewarding and challenging. Stone Ridge Technology develops and markets ECHELON, a high-performance petroleum reservoir simulator built from the ground up to run on modern GPU hardware. As the President of SRT I have three main activities. I set the strategic direction of the company, I find new work for the company and I find new people to add to our team. I also do a lot of mundane activities related to accounting, legal and other administrative tasks. I have the privilege of working with brilliant colleagues each day at SRT and the challenge of finding profitable and intellectually engaging work for them. I\'m on LinkedIn to connect and maintain contact with current and future clients, partners and employees.I have a life-long passion for physics, math and technology. I attended MIT where I earned a BS in Engineering and UIUC for a PhD in Physics. In my mid-career I completed an executive education program in the Management of Technology jointly offered by the U. of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School. I am an ardent supporter of young professionals entering the fields of physics, math and computing and I am eager to help them in any way I can. I do my best to respond to every inquiry for a position at SRT personally and if I can\'t provide a job I will gladly supply career advice or referrals. I have a very long term view towards recruiting.
