Vincent Mak is in the Global Research and Institute think tank divisions of Bank of America, where he is the Global Head of Strategic Initiatives and Data Services and is responsible for data, technology, and AI. His current focus is on the rollout and adoption of Generative AI technologies for the Research Analysts and on the integration of GenAI technologies with his clients and strategic partners.Prior to joining the organization, Vincent was primarily a technologist leading global teams in building Equity Derivatives strategy, pricings and risk tools, High-Frequency and Electronic Trading platforms, Prime Finance applications, and Data and Analytics systems at both Bank of America and Deutsche Bank. Prior to his time in Global Markets, Vincent worked in Investment Banking covering technology companies at JP Morgan.Vincent studied Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University and received his MBA from Columbia Business School. Vincent previously served as a member of the Industrial Liaison Board at Imperial College in London.Vincent is based in New York and enjoys working with a global perspective, including completing a 3-year expat assignment in London. Vincent is a strong believer in the enabling power of education and is a member of Columbia’s 1916 Society and a lifetime member of Carnegie Mellon’s Order of the May.
