About Vince Gerasole
I’ve been lucky enough to have a diverse career. I’ve connected with nationwide audiences as a White House correspondent and earned a reputation as a leading cultural, entertainment and food journalist in Chicago. My dedication to impactful storytelling earned 14 Emmy Awards in the process. I also routinely advise and train corporate teams from Rome to Milan preparing them to communicate in bilingual settings and navigate a challenging crisis. Currently, I manage a broadcast newsroom and growing content team, creating films, magazine programs, and live broadcasts. I’ve recruited talented individuals, finessed coverage, and balanced a several million-dollar annual budget. Under my watch we produce one of the city’s leading Sunday morning broadcasts that finishes first in its competitive timeslot, significantly outperforming network programming. I also strategized the growth of our YouTube channel from 6K to 32K followers. Versatility and creativity are the hallmarks of my communications career. It’s how I balance my work as a Director of Multimedia Content, network level entertainment critic, and international corporate advisor.
