ABOUT VINCENT TRUONG
Stem cell biologist and automation engineer who has developed a wide range of novel technologies based on human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) for neurological research applications. These technologies include cGMP compliant differentiation protocols towards the neural fate, a preclinical autologous cellular therapeutic candidate for spinal cord injury, 3D neural bioprinting techniques, and an automated system for hiPSC culture and differentiation for phenotypic drug screening. For all of these projects, the ability to generate the necessary cell types in a more efficient and shortened time frame would have accelerated the development and impact of these technologies. By working to develop and commercialize Anatomic’s technology platform, I hope to exponentially accelerate all technologies in the neuroscience field by providing specific neural sub-types to researchers. I am also an operational leader, managing research lab operations since the start of my science career. During my time in academia, I have been lab manager to two principal investigators with autonomy to make important day-to-day decisions on the direction of research projects and management of lab research funds. My formal business education at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business is currently on hold to focus on growing Anatomic.
