My name is Vincent Thommessen, 24, from Cologne, Germany. In summer 2024, I completed my undergrad in screenwriting at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where I wrote five short films (directing one) and co-wrote an advertisement. Following the academy’s advice to gain hands-on experience before the diploma, I spent the second half of 2024 and the first half of 2025 in Germany’s entertainment sector.From August 2024 to January 2025, I was Junior Writer for \"TV total\" at Brainpool, collaborating with a fast-paced team to craft scripts and comedy segments for Germany’s most iconic late-night show. This role sharpened my comedic writing and editorial skills.From January to April 2025, I was Junior Writer at Banijay Media Germany, developing social media copy and creative concepts for shows like \"TV total\",\"Comedy Allstars\", and \"TV total Classics,\" boosting audience engagement across platforms.Previously, I interned and freelanced at Farhouse Media, contributing to livestreams for the 1 Live Krone awards, WDR Funkhaus Orchestra productions, and a Moers Jazz Festival documentary. I also interned at Theater Baden-Baden and spent a year at a Canadian high school, significantly improving my English.I am now seeking new opportunities to grow as a writer and creative mind in the entertainment industry.
