The application Security Operations Center team composed of 50+ engineers (ASOC) is a key component of the Amadeus Global Security operation Center that is responsible to monitor, detect and mitigate security threats on Amadeus customer-facing applications.The Application Security Operations Center (ASOC) oversees 3 key ASOC organizations spread over 4 worldwide location ( France, Sweden, India and Thailand).The Digital Protection Engineering team is responsible for securing Amadeus’s public-facing digital infrastructure. This includes implementing advanced web and API protection mechanisms such as Web Application Firewalls, DDoS mitigation, Client-Side Protection, Data Security Fabrics, and Anti-Bot technologies. The team also manages security incidents through Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) platforms and employs User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) and anomaly detection tools to proactively identify and mitigate threats. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence and other advanced technologies, the DPE team plays a critical role in preventing fraud and data breaches, ensuring the integrity and resilience of Amadeus’s digital assets.The Anti-Fraud and Innovation team leads the development and operation of anti-fraud solutions powered by cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Operating within the Global Security Operations Center (SOC), the team drives innovation and research to anticipate and counter emerging threats. The CISO Security Administration team governs Logical Security System (LSS) accounts, ensuring strict access control and compliance with security policies. The team is responsible for data extraction, security reporting, and continuous monitoring of user activity to detect anomalies. this organization also plays a role in maintaining Amadeus’s compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
