CBTC Project upgrades the legacy 1970s technology to a modern train control system that increases capacity and improves reliability throughout the BART System- Coordinated with BART departments and interfacing projects during various stages of design and construction.2017 to 2020 - Systems Engineer/Deployment Lead- Developed technical specifications, procedural requirements, and contract drawings for BART Train Control Modernization Program (TCMP)- Provided technical analysis on installation, testing, and interfaces a new Communications Based Train Control System on the existing BART operating system.2014 to 2016 - Site Representative‐ Oversaw construction on $2.5 billion Silicon Valley Berryessa Extension, consisting of high voltage substations and switching stations, train control facilities, and passenger stations on a 10-mile alignment.2015 to 2017 Traction Power Engineer‐ Performed load flow studies, simulations, analysis, field surveys, constructability reviews, and preliminary engineering for substation design.2014 to 2016 - Safety Engineer‐ Implemented the safety and security certification with BART and CPUC oversight for a $3.2 billion new vehicle procurement.

I\'m a licensed electrical engineer with 15 years of experience in systems engineering, design, construction, project management, and safety oversight. I\'ve had the pleasure of taking on various roles with PGH Wong Engineering including the following- Phase Execution Manager for the BART Communications Based Train Control Design Build Contract responsible for oversight, stakeholder coordination, risk management, design support, and construction planning- Deployment Lead Engineer for the BART Train Control Modernization Program Management team responsible for supporting BART\'s procurement of a new Communications Based Train Control system, which will be interfaced, installed, tested, and cutover on the existing operating system- Systems Integration Engineer for various BART Interlocking Renewal Projects responsible for design interfaces between various projects, and systems equipment; as well as managing and performing installation design for construction- Traction Power Engineer on the BART Core Capacity Program performing load flow studies and simulations, preliminary engineering, and constructability and feasibility reviews- Site Representative as part of the VTA Construction Management team responsible for overseeing installation and integration of traction power substation, distribution, electrical infrastructure, communications, and train control.I\'ve had previous experience while employed at the state safety oversight (California Public Utilities Commission) and with a transit agency (BART), which introduced me to exciting new and large scale transit projects.
