About Vincent Jordan

I am a senior civil engineer specializing in civil design and construction projects and am a registered professional civil engineer in 13 states. My experience includes site infrastructure design, and construction administration, for a range of semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, life technologies, data center, and architectural projects. As the lead engineer for several high-tech projects, my main responsibility includes the design of site improvements, grading, and utility systems including gravity waste systems, pressurized water and waste systems, gas mains, and pumped systems. As part of project execution, I am frequently involved in programming, technical consulting, site system analyses, hydraulic calculations, hydrology analysis, permitting, and specification writing and editing. Included in project planning, I develop schedules and budgets for these large complex projects, and coordinate staffing needs across multiple offices and countries, while coordinating design with multiple disciplines. I have served in the capacity of project manager, lead engineer, site resident engineer, project engineer, and senior project reviewer on a variety of projects including greenfield, existing facility expansions, and facility upgrades. I actively participate in project CAD execution and am proficient in Microsoft programs. I am the subject matter expert for the Semiconductor industry in the electronics division of Jacobs and am a senior reviewer for work performed in that unit. I have provided construction administration support in the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.As Global Department Manager for the civil group in the electronics division of Jacobs, in addition to my lead engineering role, I am also responsible for staffing assignments for all civil projects in the electronics group, as well as hands-on management of the civil team.
