ABOUT VINCENT J PETRELLA

After 10 years of outstanding leadership and over 25 years of dedication and support, Vin Petrella has decided to retire from the Executive Director role at YBAA. He’s not getting rid of us that easily though, rest assured. Vin will stay involved through the 100th Anniversary YBAA U events in July and we are crafting a special role for Vin with YBAA for the future. YBAA cannot possibly express how grateful we are for Vin’s leadership as Executive Director, Board member, Past President and CPYB Founding Chairman. He is a role model for ALL Yacht Sales Professionals and his legacy will be felt for another generation of yacht brokers. Let’s all show our gratitude at the 100th Anniversary YBAA U events this year in July and thank him for his years of dedicated service to YBAA!With that news comes MORE exciting news. Past YBAA President, J.P. Skov has accepted the position of Executive Director and will lead YBAA into the future. JP has been a YBAA Board member for over 10 years having served on ALL of YBAA committees and then spent another six years on the YBAA Executive Committee most recently as President from 20••••18. JP is a true industry professional and will provide great leadership for YBAA in the future. Please know that the YBAA Executive Committee continues their commitment to active, hands-on oversight of YBAA and the SEVEN12 Management team reaffirms their commitment to offering YBAA world-class support and program implementation.JP begins his role on March 1, 2020, and Vin will continue to serve in a transitory role through July 2020. This will provide YBAA and its members a seamless transition to the new management team. Molly Alton Mullins continues to lead SEVEN12 on the association side of YBAA and Seven12 continues to offer unparalleled support and services to YBAA. We are lucky to have this unique relationship of Board, Executive Committee, Executive Director and Management Company.
