ABOUT VINCENT HARRIS
During his professional career, Vince has assumed a multiplicity of roles including engineer, physicist, materials scientist, inventor, educator, mentor, entrepreneur, and S&T policy fellow. From 19••••03, Vince was a scientist, Section Head, and Branch Head of the Materials Physics Branch at the Naval Research Laboratory where he led efforts in areas of electronic materials for power systems for the USS Zumwalt and the F35 Lightening II platforms, among others. In 2003, Vince returned to Northeastern University where he is an University Distinguished Professor and the William Lincoln Smith Chair Professor. Vince also leads Metamagnetics Inc. as its CEO and Chairman.
