Tasked with the responsibility of directing the activities of security personnel to ensure protection of an organization’s physical assets, properties, and resources. Implement safety regulations and procedures to minimize risk of workplace injury or death. Role also includes recruiting, training, and supervising security officers as well as preparing and controlling budgets for security operations. One of the critical duties is to assess incidents to lay down strategies that will reduce the likelihood of a future occurrence and this if oftentimes achieved through risk assessments.
