About Vincent Buff
Currently, I am a third-year undergraduate student at North Carolina State University studying computer engineering while holding a part-time software engineering internship at Murano Corporation. Some areas of interest include artificial intelligence, hardware and software development, and general management. In my college years, not only have I excelled in my academics through maintaining a 3.88 GPA, but I have also been extremely involved with the campus and surrounding community. I have a lot of experience working within the ECE Department, ranging from an Introduction to C Teaching Assistant to a Makerspace/Lab Assistant Manager. On top of this, I served as the president of Pi Kappa Phi, the largest fraternity in the state of North Carolina. During my term, we were awarded the Greek Village Community of the Year Award along with Outstanding Leadership Development. At Murano Corporation, I have had the opportunity to get a lot of practical experience working with various hardware components and software applications. I consider myself a driven and charismatic leader with exceptional communication and public speaking skills. I think logically and approach problems pragmatically, working until the ideal solution is found. I know how to set clear short-term and long-term objectives both individually and while managing a team. I enjoy working with others who are empathetic, disciplined, and integrous. Combining my skills and knowledge obtained in the classroom along with natural leadership and passion, I will provide significant value to any team or organization.
