As a Senior Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist at Ørsted, I play a key role in driving operational excellence, enhancing business processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders at all levels to identify inefficiencies, implement data-driven solutions, and embed Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve performance, quality, and sustainability.Key Responsibilities • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives that align with Ørsted’s strategic goals, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and sustainability. • Facilitate Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to drive process optimisation and performance enhancement. • Conduct data analysis, root cause analysis, and process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement. • Partner with key stakeholders to develop and implement improvement strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives. • Deliver training and coaching on CI principles to employees at all levels, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. • Support the development of KPIs and performance metrics to track progress and measure the impact of improvement initiatives. • Act as a change agent, influencing leadership and teams to adopt best practices and innovative solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance customer experience, and optimise operational performance. • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends to continuously enhance Ørsted’s CI capabilities.

A lifestyle brand launched in 2017 by my wife and I focused on helping others to improve their overall wellbeing, educate children and adults on our local marine environment and promote the removal of plastic and litter from our beaches and sea. Because of this we co-create cultures that enable individuals and communities to thrive whilst improving wellbeing and environmental awareness. By being true to my beliefs and values, walking the talk and openly turning challenges into opportunities I have been responsible for enabling change in organisations. My career spans various positions in Operations Leadership, Project & Change Management, Consultancy and Business Improvement; over several industries including renewables, oil & gas and chemical.To accomplish real change whilst upholding my beliefs and values it is true to say – I have had the opportunity to work with some truly fantastic people along the way.
