1. Manager of Recruitment and Classification

   EBMUD

   With a HR staff of 14, I am the Manager of Recruitment and Classification for the employee East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD). EBMUD provides high-quality drinking water to 1.4 million residents of the East Bay, and wastewater treatment for customers that protects the bay while generating renewable energy. As the Manager of Recruitment and Classification, my responsibilities include: leadership, management, and oversight of EBMUD’s recruitment, classification and compensation systems and its staffing needs. I design, revise, and implement strategies and plans to support EBMUD staffing needs. I develop and administer programs regarding equal employment opportunity. I assist in the administration of the civil service personnel system. I work closely with the Office of Diversity, Equity and Culture Office to implement the EBMUD’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategic Plan. In addition, I act as the Director of Human Resources and Manager of Employee Relations while the positions are vacant.
