Working with Penn State Health as a leader in strategy and marketing has provided me with the opportunity to work with highly skilled academic leaders in healthcare and build efficient processes that drive physician engagement. Recently, as the interim chief of staff, I was asked to lead with other key executives a financial turnaround to improve Penn State Health\'s overall performance. We made it happen! Period. As Ascension grew its national presence as a leading healthcare system, the opportunity to transform the medical group was critical. I lead the efforts for Ascension Medical Group to integrate the 1100+ clinic and physician practices under the Ascension branding strategy. The results have positioned Ascension Medical Group for an aligned strategy and identity to execute personalized and compassionate care to all they serve. Ascension Wisconsin merged four faith-based health systems across Wisconsin as Ascension began its efforts toward a national branding strategy. My role as Chief Marketing Officer led the charge with the Ascension WI marketing and creative team, which was one of the early adapters in the overall Ascension Health system strategy. The integration of websites thought leadership, creative elements, and internal communications were placed on my team, along with the support of the Ascension corporate team, to achieve results. As I entered the acute care side of healthcare, the role of Chief Administrative Officer at Ascension-Affinity Health System positioned me to lead all administrative teams other than finance and IT. As a result, we turned a negative operating margin into positive operating net revenue with strong connections to the physician community and overall markets being served. As the GM of Lands\' End Business Outfitters, I quickly learned e-commerce strategies from one of the best! The business-to-business division that I led (Lands\' End Business Outfitters) generated $200M in sales and retained 90% of the Fortune 500 relationships as clients. As an advisor for Executive Resource Strategies, LLC, over the past decade, I\'ve helped and successfully transitioned the leadership of family-owned companies from one generation to the next. This is by far some of the most rewarding work in my career!
