ABOUT VINAY PATEL

I’m a mechanical engineer with 8 year of professional design experience. I have designed million dollar machines to $200 bicycle. From these various projects, I have a diverse skill set that include design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing. I currently interested in a career in automotive, aerospace, electronics, robotics, medical, and energy fields.I have experience designing turbochargers for natural gas processing. The machines that I designed are large custom made million dollar machines used all over the world. While working on these machines, I gained a lot of practical knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing. During the design process, I had to use theoretical concepts from thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and aerodynamics and apply them to a real world application.While studying at Cal Poly, I designing a bicycle and a recumbent tricycle as well. From these projects, I gained hands on manufacturing experience with machining, welding, and fabrication.
