Vinay is an experienced professional in transfer pricing including public accounting and in-house roles. Vinay started his career at a public accounting firm helping clients operationalize their transfer pricing policies before taking over the in-house operational transfer pricing lead role. Vinay focuses on modernizing the transfer pricing function through process improvements, automation using technology enablers, and analytics to gain actionable insights from a planning perspective.Recently, Vinay has worked extensively in Alteryx and Tableau/PowerBI to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts in extensive time-consuming activities in Compliance, Monitoring and Reporting as well as add efficiencies and precision in US Tax Reform and CbC analyses. In the past, Vinay spent significant time in modernizing the transfer pricing function at Expedia. At Ernst & Young, Vinay helped clients manage end-to-end execution of transfer pricing policy for inter-company transactions including tangible goods, services and IP in addition to the design and development of global transfer pricing technology. Also, at E&Y, Vinay spent his time helping clients with transfer pricing documentation, compliance, planning, analyses of inter-company loans, guarantees, and other financial services transactions such as currency swaps, accounts receivables factoring, inter-company lease model for global real estate group, and projects involving intellectual property transactions and services, profit split method for benchmarking purpose in addition to the use of statistical tools for analyses such as regression.
