   Part of Identity and Connected Experiences (ICE) team which owns Recent Documents, Discovery, Services Catalogue, Sign-In Email HRD, Configuration, Storage and Authentication web services. • Published.Net Core libraries of WebAuth package which provides simplified authentication and authorization services to first party Microsoft sites for Azure AD (enterprise) and MSA (consumer) user scenarios. • Used messaging queues (Azure Service Bus) to fetch data from OneDrive API asynchronously thus achieving around 40% reliability improvement. • Worked on setting up architecture for safe deployment practices initiative to serve internal ring users before Prod. This included setting up new region with multiple datacenters, creating telemetry, monitoring and alerting, setting up deployment pipelines and creating documentation. • Improved data reliability and integrity in Recent Documents service through data validation and repairing. This provided confidence to partners wanting to onboard to the service. Also added extensive telemetry to see trends in the data, catch issues and their source. • Repetitive efforts to monitor global traffic, check latency, CPU and memory performance and adjust load using Akamai load balancing. • Fixed performance issues in Recent Documents due to external service calls. Implemented an asynchronous task to refresh Redis cache to achieve higher data availability without affecting latency of the request. • Provided diagnostic data in services response for GET and POST requests. • Worked on garage projects like creating CSS library to restyle diagnostic web pages, utility to check tenant configuration for identity provider, add dependency injection in code so that unit tests can use mock interface. • Typical feature life cycle includes design planning, coding, code review, close to 100% unit test coverage, testing(debugging) and production flight to different user rings and telemetry monitoring for performance.
