ABOUT VINAYAK MAHESHWARI

Hello! I’m Vinayak Maheshwari, a final-year Industrial Engineering student at Dalhousie University with a strong passion for process improvement, data-driven decision-making, and business transformation.I’ve completed three co-op terms with the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) across Capital Markets, Financial Shared Services, and Payments & Trade Operations, where I developed hands-on experience in reconciliation, quality assurance, and operational analytics. Through these roles, I strengthened my understanding of financial operations, vendor compliance, and end-to-end trade lifecycle processes while collaborating with teams across technology, client services, and compliance. Previously, I completed an internship with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where I led a cross-border project team to design a mobile application for the Malaysian Cancer Society, integrating user-centered design with impactful social outcomes.Beyond academics and professional experience, I’m deeply involved in student leadership and community initiatives. I currently serve as the Vice President Finance for the Sextant Publishing Society, managing budgeting, financial planning, and organizational funding. Formerly, I served as the International Students Representative for the Dalhousie Student Union and Chair of the Oversight Committee, where I championed student inclusion, transparency, and accountability within university governance. My contributions were recognized through the IMPACT Leadership Award and by representing Dalhousie at the Canadian Engineering Leadership Conference.I’m excited to continue building a career at the intersection of operations, consulting, and financial services, where I can apply my technical background, leadership experience, and passion for continuous improvement to drive meaningful impact.
