   Review of customer specifications and international codes & standards for understanding the customer requirements and undertake relevant training to the site QC inspector.• Implement the QA/QC management system at site & Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.• Monitor the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.• Coordinate for quality inspections with all the site sub-contractors and also, coordinate with vendors for all non-destructive testing on site.• Perform stage inspections like – Dimensional, visual & NDT inspection as per latest drawing, procedures & ITPs. Also, witnessed the welder performance qualification – WPQ as per ITP.• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.• Performing quality surveillance audit on regular basis at fabrication yard for betterment of Quality. Also, participate in the internal and external site audits.• Day to day Preparation of Stage inspection reports and same to be reviewed from Third party / Client. • Awareness of ASME SEC IX, ASME Sec Div. 1, ASME SEC V, AWS D1.1, IS 2062, IS 7215.• Coordinating with execution team for providing smooth inspection service.• Coordinate with the customer’s representative on all quality matters. • Obtaining black inspection Clarence prior to dispatch for painting. Also, ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for submission.• Identifying the lessons learnt and implementing the same in future projects.• Compete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.• Assure all technical documents relative to site quality control are current status.• Leading a 6 engineers team at L&T-M&M Fabrication Yard, Surat and co-ordinate with 9 engineers who are deputed at various outsource fabrication location of PAN India of L&T-M&M.• Single point contact person between L&T-M&M and TUVI for submission of monthly invoices and inspectors time sheet approval.
