   Estimator responsible for providing independent contractors-type estimate for project to install concrete seawall and automatic flood barrier in lower Manhattan. Performed detail quantity takeoffs of multiple design drawing iterations to support review of GEC estimate. Change Order Cost Estimator/Claims Analyst for Sea Beach which includes complete renovation of all 9 Stations. Also participated in negotiating fair and reasonable settlements with general contractors and subcontractors. Responsibility also includes preparing cost estimates of specific construction activities based on assumed construction approach and appropriate production rates, preparing independent cost estimates (ICE) for submitted change order proposals, analyze specifications, drawings, sketches and sample layouts to calculate total construction cost using labor, material, and equipment pricing schedules in concert with historical data. Reviewal of contractual documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and scope changes. Prepare and summarize task and subtask estimates, including rate and unit cost determination and performing mathematical calculations by applying standard factors. Participate in the pre-negotiation and pre-scope meeting with the subcontractors.
