I ask questions, paint pictures, tell stories, play with piles of data and improve processes. I am an Information Management graduate student with Data Science specialization at Syracuse University. Over the course of my academic and professional career I have gained knowledge and experience in leveraging the power of data to drive business decisions and understanding technology from a business standpoint. Working as a Data Analyst Consultant, I was driving the efforts to analyze systems, research innovative approaches and implement cutting edge solutions to enhance organization\'s data analysis capabilities. I also performed in-depth data analysis and identified root causes for performance failures, initiating a massive shift in their product development process. Collaborated with team of analysts to develop Excel and Tableau dashboards for performing know your customer analysis, and communicating key performance indicators. Before joining graduate program, I worked as a Market Researcher where I enjoyed interacting with clients to understand requirements, conduct primary and secondary research to identify business opportunities and make recommendations. As a self-starter with critical thinking abilities, I identified a scope for improvement and proposed a project reporting system to streamline project creation, approval and tracking process. On convincing the board of directors, I was asked to lead the project, which I successfully helped implement. In all my roles I have been lauded for my technical expertise, analytical capabilities and leadership qualities.
