ABOUT ALESSANDRO VILLA

Technology has never stopped amazing me.I started moving my first steps in the computer world with a CRT monitor and some floppy disks; thus, I\'ve been fortunate enough to witness first-hand the innovations that changed our way of life, from smartphones to video games and connected smart devices.Seeing as this is my passion, pursuing an education as a CS engineer has always been an obvious choice. In the university environment, I found myself close to groups of like-minded people with whom I shared many personal and professional experiences. They helped me understand that what I want is to try and help people have better experiences with technology; be it by developing software, websites, machine learning models, or protecting against cyber threats.I am a very open-minded and easy-going person, who doesn\'t hesitate to share his opinion. I always try to give my 100% in what I do and I\'d like to think this reflects in my personality. I\'m also very apt at working in teams and making new connections.My talent rests in the unique way in which I\'m able to connect my passion for computers with my empathetic and social skills. I like to think this comes from both my studies and from the experiences I\'ve been able to make abroad.Indeed, being a travel and music fan, I have been lucky enough to meet and connect with people from different countries and cultures, creating several long-lasting friendships. Such experiences have opened my mind and made me see the world from different points of view. Likewise, I\'m open to making more in the future and to widen my horizons.
