Lead R&D initiatives for the development and optimization of ethoxylated surfactants, emulsifiers, and polyethylene glycols (PEGs), ensuring compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements for food, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications. I lead new product development, pilot scale-up, and customer-specific customization of EO-based and non-EO-based products.Oversee formulation science projects, including surfactant-colloidal interactions, to enhance product stability, efficacy, and sustainability, collaborating with cross-functional teams in production, quality control, and sales.Drive process improvements in ethoxylation and esterification reactions, focusing on safety, yield enhancement, and cost reduction while managing lab-to-pilot scale-ups for new product launches.Mentor a team of chemists and engineers in advanced characterization techniques (e.g, GPC, NMR, rheology) to troubleshoot issues like flowability in glycerol monooleates (GMO) and PEGs at low temperatures.Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies for bio-based surfactants, aligning with global trends in green chemistry for applications in agrochemical delivery systems and cleaning products.I bring hands-on expertise in:Ethoxylation chemistry and process intensificationNew product development in emulsifiers, PEGs, esters, and surfactantsAnalytical method development and impurity profiling (e.g. dioxane, peroxide, EG/DG, etc.)Techno-commercial viability and customer validationProcess safety, quality compliance (e.g. food/pharma grade materials), and sustainability
