Life is precious gift and is about choices. Every day people make choices. For the first time in my life I chose to do something seriously meaningful which is far greater than a personal ambitions and gain. Of course, there will be those who would call me irrational. There aren’t many people who would dare to interrupt a successful career at its peak in return for uncertainty and unknown. Guess what, I just did that! I dare to risk it all.I chose to be honest. I chose to protect future of my son. I chose to support Ukraine whether or not it’s politically correct to voice my choice. This isn’t because I am struggling to keep it together. My choice is most informed than ever! My thought process is clearer than ever. Right now I cannot be better version of myself.For the first time in my life I’m in alignment with myself and not forcing myself to a decisions which are in conflict with my heart. Not pushing myself to be someone else.We all enter this world with a duty. A mission we need to fulfil. Many knows that I am British Ukrainian but only few knows that I am directly related to historical figure, the leader who famously fought for freedom of my homeland during WWI & WWII. I feel that I owe to my ancestors and must serve my duty by helping others and supporting those in need. I am big believer in emotional intelligence and empathy. These are the most fundamentally indispensable principals of modern interaction with people. This is why I chose to head Ukrainian community and Co-founded CIO, UK registered charity “Ukraine Appeal”. Life is precious gift which belong to one and should never be taken forcefully. Right now millions of lives are in danger. My brothers and sisters being killed. My nation is under threat of genocide. I chose to help my people. I stand unequivocally with Ukraine.
