Responsible for supporting Head of Fixed income in managing investment portfolio (c. £2bn) of Lothian Pension Fund (LPF), LPFI Limited (LPFI) clients, and other funds administered by the City of Edinburgh Council.Undertaking research projects on existing and potential investments; analysis of individual assets that are internally managed, externally managed funds or of the investing environment.Undertaking due diligence as required through detailed examination of the underlying drivers of future returns for assets, including ESG considerations, to make clear investment recommendations to Portfolio Managers, Investment Groups and other senior LPF staff.Providing support to the wider LPF investment team, LPF accounting team and LPFI clients.
