About Vikramraj Sitpal
TL;DR: Systems programmer who runs.I am mainly interested in all things systems. Operating systems, Database development, Systems ↔ ML, storage systems, computer architecture, networks and distributed systems research & development to name a few. I have worked on Embedded systems also.I’m also exploring the systems side of GenAI infrastructure and given my background in CS and Computer Architecture, I find it extremely interesting! ML side is fun too, but not as much as the system side. I am done writing fused CUDA kernels to accelerate training and inference of transformer based models. Targeting GPU + DB next.At Oracle, I work on DB kernel, lead a team of 7 across Zurich and Redwood Shores, and some other good stuff.
