ABOUT VIK SINGH
I was born and lived in the holy city of Amritsar in India. I truly feel blessed as my childhood was influenced with immense Community service and with a deep touch of spirituality. When I was 11, I lost my father in an accident that changed my childhood, my life. My family suffered serious financial difficulties and at the age of 17, I was sent abroad for further education, and I felt it my core purpose and duty was to provide financial stability to my family. I studied hospitality and started working in hotels. I used to work an average of 80 hours per week and had a very successful hospitality career. Although I loved my job, I couldn’t find financial stability and I never stopped looking to do something different, so that I could create a life of choice. It was May 2016 when my wife Shally and I took property education and were inspired to take off on this journey.We started investing in properties in 2016 and we have managed over the last 7 years to build a decent sized HMO portfolio across a few cities like Derby, Bristol, Birmingham, and Greater London. Currently we are focussing on commercial to residential conversions and have recently completed on a 16 bed HMO. From the very start of this investment journey, I wanted to learn everything, so I decided to dive deep. Apart from the formal education, which was great, I decided to do labour only contracts to convert my HMO’s where I would supply all the material. I saved a ton of money with this methodology and learnt a great deal on managing projects and hiring effective team members, and in my latest conversion of a 16 bed HMO I acted as project manager. Currently we are converting a pub into 6 luxury flats which will be retained as Serviced Accommodation and other commercial buildings into flats. Because I am very passionate about human potential, especially property investors who are perhaps not as successful as they’d like to be, I created The Elite Mindset for Property Success programme to assist those who need it most with life, mindset, and property tools so they can reach their highest potential.
