Work on android based automotive infotainment vehicle HMI end-to-end software development using design patterns such as MVC, MVP. • Design and implement UI screens, core behavior logic and data population using Android and application state transitions, data simulation using IBM Rational Rhapsody in UML language. • Work on Android device framework level APIs for projects involving access to native GPS callbacks, hardware sensors, connecting/ communicating with device through BT protocols for projects implementing geo-fencing and signals/data communications from target hardware. • Developing android front end UI in XML by extracting graphic assets from adobe Photoshop/Illustrator. • Apply AI/ML technologies for computer vision/natural language processing/speech recognition-based automotive HMI applications. • Enable HMI – embedded controller interactions using GM LAN (CAN/LIN) protocols. • Use MQTT communication protocol for interaction between embedded and android devices. • Design and implement rigorous test procedures for defect detection and formulate solutions. • Flash HMI application software onto open-source platforms such as Tinker/Nvidia Shield/Arduino embedded boards. • Support UX/AUX/UI and graphic designers to validate new HMI requirements through internal/external user clinics. • Lead rapid prototype software development activities including defining deliverables, timeline, and coordination between onsite and offshore teams.
