Worked on the migration project as a part of the Modernization. I\'m playing a major role in the migration project where we completely migrate the data from sybase to sql server. • As a part of migration project, I have worked on modifying the legacy code by changing the dependencies by not affecting the existing sybase data or functionality. • Developed a python script using BatchCMP to perform a batch job reconciliation of the vast amount of data from sybase to MSSQL after migration, for efficient and accurate rate of transfer of data. • Developed a batch job for migrating the data from sybase to MSSQL in batches using multi-threading and scheduled the job using scheduler. • Worked on Designing, implementing, and testing the backend APIs for the modifications done. • Worked on rewriting the legacy flex code to angular 8 for a UI project. • Tools used: JAVA 8, REST, Spring Boot, Maven2/Gradle, IntelliJ, GIT, JIRA, Jenkins, postman and sawgger for APIs. • Worked on changing the API calls with the changing implemented on the frontend and backend during the flex rewrite. • Worked on generating the alerts using O2 framework for various trades and matching them with various restrictions. • Ability to apply design patterns, clean code, CI/CD, TDD/BDD, Event Driven Architecture, • Worked on DB2 and Caspian databases for generating the alerts over all the environments. • Used Zookeeper for distribution of alerts and maintain synchronization across all the applications. • Used Gruve for modifying the business area and workflow depending on the client requirements. • Used autosys for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting and job control. • Used Hadoop for running the applications on clusters and storing the data.
