I am a professional with 30 plus years of experience in Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax and GST. I have served in the Directorate General of Central Excise Intelligence (DGCEI- now renamed as DGGI), a premier Intelligence & Investigation Agency of the Government of India as well as in various formations of the Indirect Tax department for more than 22 years and thereafter as Consulting professional. I focus on Customs and Global Trade as well as GST. The Geopolitical situation across the globe has brought Customs and Global trade into focus. A lot of traction is happening in this area and that’s where I play a key role- “Handholding the businesses through the turbulent times”.
