I am a seasoned Mechanical Engineer currently serving as Chief Engineer with Shell Ship Management Limited, bringing over 25 years of sailing experience, including 90 months as Chief Engineer on Oil and Chemical Tankers. My most recent assignment was aboard Silver Ervilia, a 2016-built Oil/Chemical tanker, where I successfully oversaw Class Annuals, SIRE Inspection, and Terminal Inspection, and prepared specifications for the vessel’s upcoming dry-docking scheduled for January 2026. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated technical excellence and leadership across a wide range of vessels and audits- Fairchem Endurance: CDI Inspection, Class Annuals, SIRE Inspection, and Flag State Inspection- Crystal Bay: Chevron vetting, USGC inspection renewal, and ISM Audit- Saint Albans Bay: Annual Surveys, Flag State Inspection, ISM Audit, and BP vetting- Nord Princess: Intermediate dry-docking and annual surveys- MT Umlma (Aframax tanker): Intermediate surveys, IWS, boiler surveys, and annuals- Additional participation in numerous Class Surveys and Port State Inspections.My hands-on experience includes extensive maintenance of a wide range of onboard machinery and systems.
