About Vikram Huded
Dr. Vikram Huded is a highly accomplished Neurointerventionist. With an impressive track record of over 7500 neurointervention procedures, Dr. Huded has been at the forefront of introducing innovative techniques and technologies in India and Asia. He has achieved groundbreaking milestones, including being the first neurointerventionist in India to perform a temporary endovascular bypass using the Solitaire stent in acute stroke patients. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being the first to use a stent retriever in a 6-year-old child in India. One of Dr. Huded\'s notable contributions to stroke care and management is the establishment of India\'s first stroke center utilizing AI-based Rapid software. This software plays a crucial role in identifying eligible patients for mechanical thrombectomy, enabling faster and more accurate stroke diagnosis and treatment. As a result, patient outcomes have significantly improved. Furthermore, Dr. Huded has collaborated with Dr. Mohan to develop an IVT software for stroke thrombolysis, further optimizing treatment efficacy. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Huded actively engages in research and academia. He serves as a reviewer for national and international journals and holds editorial board positions in prestigious publications.
