About Vik Kanwar
Vik Kanwar is Director of Graduate and Global Programs at Boston College Law School. He brings over 20 years as a professor, international lawyer, scholar and program administrator in the US and abroad. At Boston College, he directs BC Law’s highly selective residential Master of Laws (LL.M.) Program, which draws international students from some of the most prestigious schools in the world. In addition to teaching foundational courses and mentoring the scholars in that program, he also teaches an intra-disciplinary course in Art Law & Cultural Property to upper-year students at BC Law. He has taught at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, Loyola Law School in New Orleans, Clemson University, and at the Institute for Global Law and Policy at Harvard Law School. From 20••••16, he was the founding Executive Director of the Centre on Public Law and Jurisprudence at Jindal Global Law school, and was among the first dozen founding members of that University\'s faculty. More recently, he directed the Individualized Studies LL.M. and International Programs at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles and co-founded the Winter School On Art/Law. He is a member of the New York Bar and numerous transnational scholarly networks, including TWAIL, IGLP at Harvard Law, IILJ at NYU, and TLSI at Kings College London.
