Have been involved with the teams at Architectural/design level Led multiple recruitment drives for Engineering org in India. Lead projects in different areas (Linux kernel, Security, Networking, Disaster recovery/High Availability solution, Distributed Computing, Microservices in Cloud, Data Virtualization) Work with Product Management Organization to build roadmap. Work with Program Management to plan the releases. End-to-End engineering ownership of Data Sharing. This will enable people to share their data inside/outside the Organization. Next phases will involve more broader Data sharing. End-to-End engineering ownership for the delivery of the Consumption/Pay-per-use Program. This is built on the Microservice Architecture. This program involves extensive exercise and multiple benchmarking to come up with a matrix and decide on the Consumption charging units. Successfully delivered the first GA of the program. Worked with Product Management for the Consumption pricing. Delivered features like Forecasting of Consumption Units. Added features like optimize the resource and performance to the roadmap. Lead the Teradata India R&D Security Program. Took initiative for “Teradata - Security in Cloud”. We conceptualized multiple ideas which are now built as features. Some of the release defining features are “JWT as the logon mechanism in Teradata” and “SSO for Teradata Ecosystem”. Awarded Patent for “Security in Diverse Computing Environments”. Filed Multiple invention disclosures. Lead the Database Networking team in India. This team was taking care of the Networking protocol between Client software and Database. This was a custom implemented protocol for client and database interaction. Lead the Unity (Disaster recovery/High Availability solution) team in India. We filed multiple invention disclosures in areas of recovery, improved user experience, improved high availability, high availability with new addition of engines to SQL engine and improving scanning database dictionary. Built high performance teams from scratch in India continuously for 3 Products in different areas. Collaborate with multiple teams across different geographical locations.
