About Pierre Wallinder
Pierre has over 40 years of business experience, as owner and founder of several successful start-up companies: trading, manufacturing and education. Born in Sweden, having also lived in Poland for many years, he has extensive travel and cultural experiences. In May of 2013 Sail Buffalo members & trustees started implementation of our Community Boating Center vision on the premier location on the Outer Harbor, funded in part by Niagara Greenway Commission. Starting with season 2015, main focus will be Sail Buffalo, a Sailing & Community Boating Center on Buffalo\'s Outer Harbor. During the warm months- we teach adults how to become confident sailors with the accredited system of American Sailing Association. With our partners we have created one of Buffalo\'s most visited waterfront programs ~ 1,500 participants during 20••••13 season! With the added Floating Classroom and other on shore buildings we can now accommodate groups of 40-50 people. Junior Sailing Program have over 300 youth participating during 10 weekly sessions.
