I am the founding partner of Confidant Legal with primary areas of focus being Projects & Energy particularly renewable energy, M&A and Private Equity (PE) with experience of over 17 years and have been recognized by Legal 500 for my Projects and Energy practice. With a deep-rooted passion for sustainable development, my expertise lies in advising on project development, including drafting and negotiation of pivotal contracts (such as EPC and BOP contracts, C&I Contracts, Captive Project agreements, PPA, O&M contracts, Supply Agreements and land and development contract) and guiding power companies through bidding process. I also advise power companies in contract management and strategizing, management and effective resolution of disputes/ claims arising during the project life cycle keeping in mind the business and continuity of project development. My advisory extends to crucial transactions involving setting up of platforms power projects development, acquisition/ divestiture or investment in power assets, bolstering clients\' positions in a competitive market. In M&A and PE space, I specialize in advising domestic and international companies, investors, and investments bankers on all aspects of complex inbound and outbound acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances, business purchase, and private equity transactions. I have been especially active in sectors such as Renewable Energy, IT/ITES, manufacturing, and F&B.

In projects and energy space, I advise on various aspects involved in the development of power projects ranging from drafting of project development (EPC) and BOP contracts, O&M contracts, land and development contracts, off-take and supply arrangements, dispute resolution, bid advisory and regulatory issues in the renewable space, and on transactions involving the purchase or sale of power assets. One of my niche focus areas is on advising power companies undergoing the CIRP process and their Resolution Professionals in dealing with unique challenges and complexities involved in the CIRP process and running the business as a ‘going concern’.
