I build large-scale distributed systems and high-throughput APIs that power critical Amazon shopping experiences used by millions of customers.I am a Senior Software Engineer at Amazon with 10+ years of experience designing backend platforms and low-latency systems that operate reliably at massive scale. My work focuses on building event-driven, asynchronous systems on AWS and exposing them through high-throughput APIs that power core retail features.I currently work on the \"Add to Delivery team\", where I was also a technical founding member of the product. Add to Delivery introduces a one-tap purchasing experience for Prime members that allows customers to seamlessly add items to an upcoming delivery. The system blends with core Amazon retail experiences to provide a more convenient and flexible way for customers to shop, shifting the mental model from individual orders toward deliveries.Earlier, I was part of the technical team behind \"Amazon Today\", an initiative that helped lay the foundation for Amazon’s quick-commerce capabilities.My work focuses on:* Designing distributed backend systems that operate at massive scale* Building high-throughput APIs powering customer-facing retail experiences* Architecting event-driven systems on AWS* Driving cross-team technical initiatives across large organizations* Mentor engineers on ADPList (systems design, distributed systems, backend engineering).Beyond building systems, I enjoy mentoring engineers, guiding architectural decisions, and acting as a technical advisor across teams.
