About Vikash Kumar

With over 12 years of experience in Android framework customization, system native apps, and middleware services development, I am a staff engineer at Qualcomm, one of the world\'s leading wireless technology innovators. I work on Android new launches and upgrades, handling multiple Android releases on Qualcomm SOCs, such as the 8155 ADP. I have a deep understanding of Android architecture, including system, HAL, HIDL, and framework layers, and I apply my expertise to deliver high-quality and robust solutions for various Android devices and platforms.Previously, I was a senior research engineer at LG Soft India, where I contributed to several cutting-edge features and modules, such as multi-zone audio, EVS camera stack, QCOM AIS, and different Android F/W modules and HAL. I also have experience in Android IVI system development and media framework. I owned some of the features during development and managed the team members and stakeholders, demonstrating my leadership and communication skills. I have strong programming skills, including C++, Java, and JNI, and I am proficient in Android development and debugging tools, CTS, VTS, ATS, GAS, and peripheral modules.
