   Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Battery Pack & Module Design• Design lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and enclosures using CAD tool SolidWorks.• Optimize mechanical layouts for cell arrangement, bus bars, cooling systems, and structural supports.• Ensure space constraints, weight reduction, and ease of assembly (DFM/DFA).2. Thermal Management Systems• Develop cooling solutions (liquid cooling, air cooling, phase-change materials) to maintain optimal battery temperature.• Perform CFD & thermal simulations to predict heat dissipation and prevent thermal runaway.• Design heat sinks, cooling plates, and thermal interface materials for efficient heat transfer.3. Structural Integrity & Safety• Perform FEA analysis (stress, vibration, impact) to ensure robustness under mechanical loads.• Design fireproof barriers, crash protection, and venting mechanisms for safety compliance (UN38.3, IEC 62133).• Validate designs through shock, vibration, and drop testing (as per automotive/aerospace standards).4. Material Selection & Manufacturing Support• Choose lightweight, durable materials (aluminium alloys, composites, plastics) for enclosures & components.• Work with suppliers & manufacturing teams to ensure cost-effective production (injection molding, sheet metal, extrusion).• Resolve assembly & tolerance issues (GD & T application).5. Collaboration & Compliance• Coordinate with electrical engineers, BMS teams, and R&D for system integration.• Support prototyping, testing, and failure analysis (root cause investigations).
