Prior to current assignment, Vikash was President of Rivigo Services Private Limited which has pan India transportation network with fastest transit times, highest reliability and best service through a technology-first approach. In a career spanning 25+ years, most of which has been in logistics industry, Vikash has gained considerable expertise in sales, customer services, operations & a complete understanding of business processes, strategic service quality interventions, and technologies. He was one of the core team members involved in consultation process for launching DHL’s ecommerce business in Thailand.Prior to his appointment as President of Rivigo, Vikash was CEO of DHL SmarTrucking, n which role he was responsible for building a passionate & committed operations team & setting up an agile operating process for easy & reliable full truck load transportation services aided by smart technologies.Before his tenure at DHL SmarTrucking, Vikash was Senior Vice President–Road Operations of Blue Dart Express. He joined Blue Dart in 2007 with a mandate to build road express business virtually from a scratch & helped business achieve a CAGR of 20% in subsequent years. He was instrumental in developing network design & implementing finer nuances of road business while achieving fine balance between service quality & cost.Before joining Blue Dart, Vikash worked with Gati Ltd for 9+ years in various functions like sales, customer service & operations. In his earlier stints, he had been Area Manager of Gabriel India Ltd and Head of Quality Assurance at Apollo Health & Lifestyle Ltd. Vikash was one of the founding team members who successfully established ‘The Apollo Clinic’, a chain of primary health clinics across the country.Vikash is a graduate from the Hindu College, Delhi University and has an MBA from Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University, UK. As part of his MBA Program, he did his dissertation work at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), NY State, USA.
