LOGISTICS & COMPLIANCE Logistics Management: Oversee all logistics and transportation activities including freight, warehousing, and distribution to optimize routes and achieve timely, cost-effective delivery. Trade and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all local, national, and international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation requirements. SOURCING & PROCUREMENT Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Manage and strengthen relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers, carriers, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers to ensure the best value and favorable terms. Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess potential risks (e.g, single-source dependencies, geopolitical disruptions, quality failures) and develop contingency plans to ensure supply chain resilience. PLANNING & FORECASTING Demand Planning & Forecasting: Lead the process of creating and refining demand forecasts by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure supply plans align with future market needs. Inventory Management: Establish and govern inventory policies (safety stock levels, reorder points) to maintain optimal stock levels, minimizing carrying costs and preventing stock outs. Sales & Operations Planning (S & OP): Coordinate and lead the S & OP process to reconcile demand, supply, and financial plans into a unified, executable business plan. STRATEGY & OPTIMIZATION Develop and Implement Supply Chain Strategy: Design and execute an end-to-end supply chain strategy that aligns with overall business goals (e.g, cost reduction, service improvement, profitability). Process Improvement (Continuous Improvement): Analyze and optimize all supply chain processes (Sourcing, Production, Logistics) to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase overall speed and reliability.
