Project Management Leader, Vikas Kumar Narwal, PMP®, a seasoned Project Management professional with over 30 years of experience in power transmission and telecom infrastructure at Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. Currently serving as Sr. General Manager, he has extensive expertise in planning, monitoring, and executing large-scale transmission projects across India. From November 2024, he has again taken up key responsibilities in transmission project execution and monitoring, where he has played a significant role in accelerating project implementation and ensuring timely completion of critical infrastructure. Notably, he has been instrumental in facilitating the early commissioning of the PENTL project under the North Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme, achieving completion nearly six months ahead of the scheduled timeline through close coordination with stakeholders, proactive issue resolution, and rigorous project monitoring. In addition to this, he has earlier contributed to the successful commissioning of a 1765 km ±800 kV HVDC transmission system with MW terminals at Raigarh and Pugalur during the COVID period, a landmark project valued at around crore.
