As a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead at Rippling, I leverage my expertise in Python, Java, Go, algorithm design, and backend development to create scalable and reliable solutions for data and interfaces. Rippling is a leading cloud-based platform that simplifies employee management and payroll for small and medium businesses.In my current role, I have been instrumental in implementing processes around code reviews, design reviews, and peer onboarding, as well as adopting the scrum agile project development framework, which increased the sprint velocity by more than 50%. I also designed and implemented a backend string translation framework used by multiple teams across the company for localization, and a 3p DataConnector and ETL framework to pull and ingest tens of millions of records per customer into Rippling\'s employee graph. These frameworks unlocked new capabilities for customers, such as no-code triggers, unified analytics, and RQL. I have collaborated with five different teams in various roles, demonstrating my communication and leadership skills. Prior to joining Rippling, I worked as a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services, where I contributed to the development and launch of two devtools platforms: AWS CodeCommit and AWS CodePipeline. I owned the high-level and low-level design of critical components, implemented authentication and authorization features, and improved operational processes. I also led and collaborated with engineers across multiple teams, using agile development methods to deliver high-quality and timely results.
