I played a key role in the Data Observability Project, working with various data pipelines to monitor and enhance data quality using the Datadog tool.Key Responsibilities:Data Observability & Monitoring: Implemented Datadog to track data health, detect anomalies, and ensure pipeline reliability.Data Pipeline Analysis: Worked on multiple ETL pipelines, identifying inconsistencies, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring seamless data movement.Issue Resolution & RCA: Investigated data quality issues, performed root cause analysis (RCA), and collaborated with engineering teams to resolve pipeline failures.Dashboard & Alerting: Designed and maintained Datadog dashboards, setting up proactive alerts to minimize downtime and improve data reliability.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnered with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define quality metrics and improve data trustworthiness.This role strengthened my expertise in data observability, pipeline monitoring, and data-driven problem-solving, ensuring Expedia Group’s data infrastructure remained reliable, accurate, and scalable.
