As an Information security Engineer, I am mainly responsible for:· Engineering and Architecting new customer security solutions for Comcast Business customers.· Working on UTM with Versa’s SD-WAN solution, configuring VNF’s in virtual environment· POC Testing on Fortinet, Palo Alto and Versa Firewalls· Working with firewalls to design and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production environment.· Assisted in Integrating Okta Platform for SSO & MFA with Panorama (Palo Alto firewall manager).· Created, modified, and managed privileged user accounts through Active Directory, Integration of systems such as Active Directory, Syslog, Splunk, etc.· Configured SSO for Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls for POC testing.· Configuring Prisma (Palo Alto cloud environment) to implement security that includes access control, UTM implementation, Logs monitoring to protect enterprise applications and resources.· Planning and upgrading of firmware on Palo alto and Fortinet Firewalls.· Performance testing on Versa Devices with Enterprise security using Ixia infrastructure.· Collaborating with different teams to design, build, document, and test scenarios and use cases in a lab environment.· Assisted in Security audits for operating procedures in accordance with establishment standards for efficiency, accuracy, Security, and risk mitigation.· Creating Proof of concept and technical guidance documentations for business partners, AC operations and Sales Engineering teams· Aligning standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy. Working knowledge of security risk oversight, CVSS (Common Vulnerability Scoring System), CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures), and technical security vulnerability remediation/mitigation· Identifying gaps in security designs for existing and proposed architectures and recommending changes or enhancements· Identifying and communicating current and emerging security threats
